Easing Out Your Business Meeting Hassle with CRM
Recently Microsoft has released the Wave 2 of their CRM suit. The new update of Microsoft dynamics 365 CRM hub professional has included the ability to organize and send webinar invites, host virtual meetings, collect registers and make follow-ups. This has been made possible through the Microsoft Teams suite. Whether it is a live event or a simple webinar, the CRM suite will now feature management of speakers, producers, calendar management, and maintaining of records at the same time. To utilize all these features, one must either have an existing team license or must purchase the license to get started.
How to Enable Live Stream?
When you enable live stream, in the system settings, you will see the option to stream every event online through the Microsoft team’s suite. Every event or record can be streamed through this. Just toggle the option to ‘yes’ and Dynamics 365 will create a team meeting automatically. The team’s meeting will also be added to the calendar of the event owner. If the webinar or event has multiple speakers, you can create new speaker records and associate them with the event record. After the association, the created meeting will be visible on all the calendars. That is one way how the CRM cuts down the work of arranging meetings in half.
Webinar Types
The Microsoft team has two types of supported streams. It has options for teams meeting and Team live events. Both are managed the same way but the difference is that the Team meeting is your standard meeting. This type of meeting is suitable for day to day to day business center. Team meetings are used for organizing webinars. It, however, gives you very limited control over the restrictions on the assignee. The good thing is that the options for muting by default and not allowing the attendee to unmute can be simply toggled in the menu after the meeting has started.
Teams live events are a much better solution for webinars. It allows you extended control over the attendees. In Team live events, there is so much flexibility. For example, you can allow the attendees to view the content but completely disallow them to share their audio. You can turn off content sharing and audio at your whim. There is also an additional feature to set a question-answer section at the end of the session. This allows the users to submit their questions and only hosts can approve the questions and answers. The not so great thing about the live events is that it is public and can be joined by anyone with a link. There is also a delay in the stream. The delay can go as far as 15 to 30 seconds which makes it sometimes unsuitable for certain tasks.
Bottom Line
Microsoft CRM suite has made it easier to manage your team meetings in a more organized way. With two modes for hosting webinars and record events, it gives you extended flexibility to host and manage your team while making sure that you have firm control over your meetings.
