The strength of the wireless connectivity throughout your home is determined by the 5G Wi-Fi6 router you choose. Your router sends out the Wi-Fi signal that enables devices on your home network to access the Internet wirelessly.
If you’ve been tampering with your network configuration, you might wonder what a 5G Wi-Fi router means. After all, the greatest routers frequently include numerous bands, 5GHz being one of them. How can I use the web interface on my Imperial router to turn on and off the wireless radios?
Wi-Fi transmissions are broadcast by internal wireless radios in your Imperial router. They are enabled by default so that you can access the router remotely. You can still connect to your router through a LAN using an Ethernet cable even while the wireless radios are off.

The wireless radios cannot be turned back on using the Wi-Fi On/Off button after being turned off via the router’s web interface. The wireless radios cannot be turned on without using the router’s web interface.
Using the web interface for your Imperial router, turn on and off the wireless radios:
Open a web browser from a computer or mobile device linked to your router’s network.
Visit www.imperialwireless.com and log in.
The login screen appears.
Enter the username and password for the router.
Administer is the user name. The password you entered when you checked in for the first time. Both the username and the password must match exactly.
Displayed is the BASIC Home page.
Select WIRELESS SETTINGS under ADVANCED > ADVANCED SETUP.
The page for advanced wireless settings appears.
To turn off the wireless band, scroll down.
For instance, scroll down to the 5GHz (a/n/ac/ax) section to turn the wireless radio on or off for the 5 GHz band channel.
The Enable Wireless Router Radio check box can be selected or deselected.
The wireless radio can be turned on or off for each band by checking or unchecking the appropriate box.
Tap or click the Apply button.
