How much does a large SMD Screen cost?

What exactly is an LED?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is an acronym for semiconductors emitting visible light when power is passed through it.

What exactly is the pitch?

This is the distance in millimeters between pixels. This essential measurement determines an LED screen’s characteristics and performance: the pitch is a determining factor of a screen’s viewing distance: the smaller the angle, the shorter the minimum view distance, and the bigger the total number of pixels on the net.

What’s the distinction between SMD and DIP LEDs?

DIP LEDs: This is the most widespread and oldest LED technology. DIP LEDs are thus very stable and provide good brightness and contrast. SMD LEDs: Because of downsizing, three LEDs of various hues can be housed in the same capsule.

The ability to see three colors at the same time. Red, Green, and Blue on a single LED enable the creation of panels with even lower pitch (the distance between pixels). SMD screens have higher resolutions and visual quality, but they also have a wider viewing angle (160°).

What exactly is a pixel or resolution?

The pixel is the “spot of light” on all LED screens. The total number of pixels in Width and Height defines the resolution.

What is an LED screen’s resolution?

The number of pixels presents throughout the width and height is referred to as resolution. As a result, the solution is proportionate to the screen size in millimeters. To determine the resolution of an LED screen, divide its size in millimeters by its pitch.

It is important to note that even a few millimeters of pitch reduction increase LED density (and thus resolution) significantly.

Remember that the shorter the minimum viewing distance, the smaller the pitch. However, the more pixels on the screen, the better the image.

How do you put together SMD screens?

LED advertising panels are made up of “boxes,” and this technique allows for creating big SMD screens based on the customer’s needs. Our basic housings come in various sizes and are chosen based on the application.

What exactly is the distinction between indoor and outdoor screens?

In general, the following distinctions exist between indoor and outdoor screens:

Because outdoor screens are typically viewed from a larger distance, high resolution is not required.

The low resolution required to produce decent image quality offsets the expense.

The ventilation system keeps the temperature inside the module steady and below critical limits.

Solar protection system and vandalism protection: outdoor LED screens are equipped with a specific protection system that protects the screens from the sun (raising contrast levels and obtaining a better image) and vandalism.
