How To Draw Buildings. Removing architectural designs is a fun way to hone your creative skills. Drawing a house is common, so why not learn how to draw buildings? To make it easier for you, we have selected a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw buildings, summarized in 9 easy and simple steps.
Illustrations accompany each instruction to guide you through the drawing process. With this guide, you will be surprised to discover that drawing buildings is not as difficult as you think! Have fun, and use your imagination! You can draw many more characters like drawing of batman, Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.
Step 1:
Draw a vertical rectangular shape in the middle of your paper. Make sure the top of the building is relatively taller than the bottom. This describes the building in the center. Since building shapes consist mostly of straight lines, feel free to use a ruler to help you draw straight lines quickly and easily. To ensure that the building is drawn in the center, you can create reference lines by drawing horizontal and vertical lines that intersect on the paper. The point where the two lines meet is your guide to where to draw the first building in the middle.
Step 2:
Draw another standing rectangle on the left side of your paper, right next to the first building we drew in the previous step. This creates an overview of the two skyscrapers. Make sure the top of this building is a diagonal line going up to the right instead of a straight horizontal line. This building should also be taller than the previous building we drew, located in the middle.
Step 3:
Structure the third structure on the right flank of your paper by drawing another vertical rectangular shape. Make sure this building is taller than the middle one but smaller than the left one. After completing this step, you should have drawn three high-rise buildings, as shown in the illustration.
Step 4:
Make the building on the right side look like a tower by adding a platform at the top to increase its height. To create a platform, draw a rectangular shape above the building. The width of the platform must not be greater than the width of the building on which it rests.
Step 5:
Repeat the last step and draw another rectangular form above the one we outlined in the previous grade. This platform should be smaller than the one below.
Step 6:
Now draw a square above the two rectangular shapes stacked above the building on the right side. It is the third and last platform of the tower. When drawn correctly, the three platforms at the top of the building should range from
Step 7:
Now that we have finished drawing the three buildings, we will work on their details and patterns to make them look realistic. Starting with the building on the left side, draw several rectangular shapes standing inside the building to create the look of the windows.
Step 8:
Moving towards the building on the right side, draw elongated shapes along the length of the building, creating three large parallel windows.
Step 9:
Finally, draw several rectangular shapes on the remaining windowless building. This forms the windows of the building in the middle, finally completing your design. As you can see in the illustration, all three buildings have unique windows, and none are identical. This gives the work a creative and aesthetic look. You can draw windows similar to our illustration or design your windows. Either way, we’re sure your drawing will look amazing!
Now that we’ve successfully drawn three tall buildings, it’s time to move on to the fun part: choosing colors and coloring the buildings. Depending on the material used to build and the color of the paint, buildings come in a wide range of colors. The most common colors for a building are black, white, and gray, but feel free to use brighter colors! You can even utilize your favorite shades if you like. Have fun playing with colors and see how the building finally becomes colorful. We can’t stay to see what colors you decide on!
